This week and last week my class and I were working on our speeches I read mine yesterday in front of my homebase I did my speech on Kate Sheppard, I read my speech to my Mum and she gave me a few pointers.

Kia Ora bloggers, last week my class had to do a PAT writing test. We had to do it on caring for planet Earth. We had to choose one environmental problem and describe how we can reduce its impact on the planet but we couldn't research anything. It was kinda hard but it was a lot of fun. Have you done your writing test yet? What subject did you do your test on?

Best Basketball

 Kia ora bloggers, on Thursday two teams a girl team and a boy team went to zones basketball for the whole day each team had 5 games throughout the day. we had 3 normal games, semi-finals and finals, unfortunately, the boy team didn't make it to Canterbury's but the girl team did. It was so fun and tiring. Do you play in a sports team? If so what sport? Did your school go to zones?

Report writing

Kia ora, in my literacy we are doing information report writing, this is the beginning of my report I chose to do racism, I am also doing another report on Axolotls.  What are you doing for your report writing this year?

Pink Shirt Day!

Kia ora its Pink Shirt Day! Its time to raise awareness for the mental health foundation, its so cool to see so many people wearing pink and bringing in a gold coin donation. What is your pink piece of clothing for today? Here are some photos that I took today enjoy!

 

Bok Choy

 

Kia ora! In my literacy class I have been reading a story called bok choy and I had to pick between a few activities I chose to do a pixel art of bok choy.

I really enjoyed making this pixel picture. I used Piskel to make this it is a really cool app that you should try out!

Kia ora bloggers, this is my pepeha art I did in term one for language week! First I did my mountain and river sketch along with the patterns I put in them, then I painted it with water colours. I really enjoyed doing this it was a really fun art project. What did you or your classes do for language week?

Hi bloggers, in my school for the last few weeks we have been doing how to be the best version of yourself for our inquiry. I have made a slide show presentation about being the best version of yourself.  Do you think your the best version of yourself? 

Pattern Math

In my maths group we have been doing pattern maths and trying to find the rule to our number patterns. We made our own number patterns and gave them to our friends to see if they could work out the next numbers and rules. Here are the three patterns I made. Book week

 Hi my name is Alana,

At my school we are doing book week and our theme is fairy tales. We had to stick our school photos on any of these pictures Bell from beauty and the beast, Tinkerbell, one of the three little piggys and humpty dumpty and we had to colour in the body.
